5 WELLNESS TIPS FOR YOUR FURRY FRIENDS

Here are some of our tried and tested pet wellness tips, alongside regular exercise and a balanced, nutritious diet.




HEMP OIL

Putting a little hemp oil on your pet’s food can reduce anxiety, relieve pain, promote cardiovascular health and protect their nervous system. The general rule of thumb is to give 1mg - 6mg per 10 pounds of body weight. 


SLOW FEEDER

Most dogs are very fast eaters, so it helps to feed them their meals in a slow feeder bowl to encourage them to consume smaller portions of food and digest more effectively, this is particularly important for breeds that are prone to breathing issues. 


BLUEBERRIES

It might seem strange to feed your pets fruit, but blueberries are actually the perfect low calorie treat. They’re full of antioxidants and nutrients which support their immune system and contribute to overall health.


FISH OIL

Fish oil contains omega-3 fatty acids - a ‘good’ fat which helps your pet’s body and brain. It’s one of the best supplements to add to your pet’s diet as it can support heart health, promote a silky coat, reduce itchy and flaky skin and help relieve allergies and joint pain. 


DENTAL TREATS

Giving your pets a dental stick or dental chew as a treat helps to strengthen their teeth, whilst removing plaque, reducing tartar and freshening their breath.
