We all know that sleepy, sluggish feeling that you get throughout the day at work. You’ve already had your morning coffee or tea, yet you can’t stop yawning and your eyes are getting heavier. Help beat the fatigue and boost your energy with these fresh, nutrient-rich foods…

BANANAS

It’s important to consume foods that are high in protein, vitamins, fibre and complex carbohydrates, like bananas. They contain potassium, vitamin B6, vitamin C and manganese, and they’re rich in fibre, which your body digests slowly.

EGGS

Eggs are a great source of protein and healthy fats, which provide energy and help your body absorb vitamins.

NUTS

Our go-to snack to beat the 3pm slump. Grab a handful of nuts - they’re full of protein, carbohydrates, fat and nutrients that are great for your health, like vitamin E, omega-3 fatty acids, fibre and unsaturated fats.

OATS

Oats are full of fibre and complex carbohydrates which are harder for your body to break down, which means you’ll feel fuller and more energetic for longer.

LEAFY GREENS

Whilst it’s often tempting to opt for a carby lunch (especially in the cooler months), it helps to have a fresh salad packed with leafy greens. Kale is rich in vitamins, antioxidants and iron, whilst spinach is high in Vitamin K and magnesium.
